Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in partnership with Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and National Water Resources Board (NWRB) and Department of Interior (DILG) came together last November 29, 2019  to launch “Oplan Tubig Para sa Kinabukasan”.

A responsible water campaign usage that encourage everyone to be fully informed about our current water situation. Also to be prepared at all times water shortage it may cause. Together with MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim who encouraged the public to do something of this precious resource in our own little ways.

Hindi “unli” ang supply ng tubig, pero walang limit ang paraan para lahat tayo ay makatulong sa responsableng paggamit nito!Nangunguna ang MMDA kasama ang National Water Resources Board, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System – Corporate Office at DILG Philippines para siguraduhing lahat tayo ay may tubig para sa kinabukasan!I-like at follow ang ating official page madaling makibalita, maghanda at magkaisa! #OplanTubigParaSaKinabukasan

Under this initiative they have videos at arts social media content to create impact to Filipinos in general. That can educate them, as well as reach as many Pinoy on how to help. NWRB Director Dr. Sevillo David said that there are more than 15 million peoples are using water from Angat Dam.

And continue to grow each year so MWSS Administrator Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Salamat encourages everyone to be responsible of using water especially during dry season. DILG Sec. Eduardo Año aksi hope that with this campaign that individuals and communities will be inspired and encouraged responsible water usage in their respective LGU.
